Everyone has been very nice and friendly. My mom has been there a week and will be there for a bit, when I asked, if it would be possible to be moved to a room where her bed could be next to the window as her mood and outlook always gets boosted when she can see the sun and just see the world, not to mention feel the outside air. The management team moved her that day as a couple rooms opened up. I would recommend Carmel Rehabilitation to everyone

It has taken me some time to write this review. My mother was a resident at CMR for 15 months. Initially she was there for rehabilitation from a broken ankle. The rehabilitation team did everything in their powers to get her up and walking again. Unfortunately due to my mom’s resistance and medical history she did not regain her mobility. Words cannot express the gratitude my father and I have for everyone at CMR. The facility is kept very clean. The nurses and CNA’s treated my mother with love, dignity, and respect throughout her stay. Mom passed in March of 2025. She passed away with so much love and dignity. She was not alone in her final moments. When dad and I left to take a break, her CNA’s and nurses were by her side until her final moments. The care team at CMR is beyond exceptional. About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
