MJ Slosson, Director of Admissions has gone above and beyond to service my family's needs. This wasn't even her concern or her department. I was having an issue with Cindy Millan, Social Services Coordinator who was very rude and unprofessional calling me after 7pm as well as not doing her job correctly, so I had no choice other than to call MJ. MJ took care of my problem in a quick and more than efficient way and the needs of my family were met. She is truly a rock star at this facility. She should be greatly appreciated, and she would be the reason why if needed I would put my family member in that facility again. These are the type of employees that must be appreciated and valued. MJ is an asset to this organization! Thanks to her loving care and empathy, the problem was taken care of. I so appreciate this woman and the facility should too. Thank you so much, MJ, Naomi Nicholson.

Wanting to give a shout out to the amazing team who helped to rehabilitate my father during his 3 week stay at Casa’s Health Center. Mike and Jerod who handled (OT and PT) and Kenneth all helped to get my dad up and running again- and Sylvia, Alvin and Joseph were all incredible on the nursing end. We’re so grateful that Casa’s Health Center was part of his healing journey. The care and compassion of the team, along with the rigor and intensity of the PT/OT department was really top notch. My dad is a motivated 88 year old - but I don’t think he would’ve done it without these professionals and what they did for him. Thank you 🙏

I have lived at Casa for 17 years. I can say I feel SAFE as we have a Security Team that is tops! Lately I have had several Dr. appointments and the Transportation Vans have taken me and picked me up. I am comfortable with 'sit back and let them drive', as I feel safe and the drivers are personable. I am 89 but still like my hair washed and fixed and only walk about 8 minutes to Salon. I sit back and let them do their magic, so I feel younger as I walk out. Casa is over 30 years old, but they keep it looking brand new, so I feel I am on a up scale cruise - safe, well fed, and taken care of in every way, especially by our Wellness Dept. EVERY department is a PLUS in every way, Thank You Casa!!!!!

My earlier post was incorrect!!! I really am so glad to be living at Casa, even though I am technologically challenged in posting a Google review🤪! Fortunately, there are several tech programs here which help me, one of the many benefits of living in our beautiful, friendly CASA!

If you would like your loved one to stay alive and sanitary and well taken care of, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. My father was recently discharged from the hospital to their skilled nursing facility and as of yesterday was taken back to the hospital near death from pneumonia and a septic UTI. Through the several visits I had with my father, and my mother visiting and spending most of the days with him, the care is atrocious and does not meet infection control standards one bit. The staff is grossly undertrained and underqualified to manage any patient’s care. They did not know how to operate a G-tube, let alone change their gloves in between cleaning my dad’s disposable briefs(not “diapers” as they illegally referred to them and degraded him) and applying topical medication on his pressure wounds and rash that occurred because of how long they wait to attend to him after a bm. Every time I’d leave the facility, they had 6-10 employees at the front desk eating, on their phones, and yapping to each other-NOT ATTENDING TO THE PATIENTS. None of their staff noted or noticed my dad’s symptoms worsening as he was going septic. Absolutely NOONE should be a patient here and it’s shocking that a facility like this is allowed to operate. Shut this place down!!!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
