  My elderly Mother has been under the care of the Village Square Healthcare Center Team on three separate occasions. Each time she has been admitted, she was treated for weakness and mobility related issues as she was a fall risk at her apartment. Each time the care has been very good BUT the most important aspect (in my opinion) is the genuine loving relationships my Mom has established. From the admissions personnel, social workers, nursing staff (CNA's), the driver and other residents staying at the facility, my Mother has grown fond of so many. As a frequent visitor I've gotten to know several Village Square staff members, and it has been a pleasure, especially Lucy and Yasmin, they're always available to answer any question or concern regarding my mother. Watching the way everyone interacts with my Mom is very comforting. The staff makes her laugh and feel young, all with a genuine sense of duty and encouragement. She always tells me that seeing all of their bright and shining faces always makes her day. I feel this gives her motivation to get stronger with her PT.<br>Overall, this is a very healing environment!<br>Please don't hesitate to make Village Square your choice or the choice for your loved one(s).<br>The one improvement that could be addressed is the food.   Village Square Healthcare Center in San Marcos, CA is one wonderful Healthcare Center. All the staff is truly amazing and caring. A staff member named Marcos is outstanding. He is very knowledgeable but most of all very caring. Village Square Health Center truly cares about their patients and as I mentioned above Marcos is one of a kind, he is the very best kind. God bless each of their staff and their patients.

  If I can give this facilities zero stars, I would you guys are capping with the reviews. This facility makes it seems as if they give him the patience the best Care meanwhile this past Sunday they never had a C for the patient. They’re dying of thirst. the CNA is not on top of their stuff and also they are sleeping on the knock shift And to top it off. The patients are abusing the employees as well. Today was my last draw at this place where my wife was racially. And physically abuse by a patient and for that we will not let that go. They try to give the best care when families are around, but behind closed doors and after hours is horrible they are short on The patients are getting fed. There’s a lot of neglection going on as well. This place is horrible. These patients pay over $10,000 to be there and they can’t even get hot water. And you are coming in here like your family got the best care but yeah you don’t even know your family taking cold
