  When our loved one needed rehab, we were nervous and unsure of what to expect. From the moment we arrived at Berkeley East, our perception completely changed. The staff was kind, patient, and truly supportive, which gave our family so much peace of mind. They treated him with dignity and compassion every day. The physical therapy team was exceptional. They answered all of our questions, showed us how to continue exercises at home, and made sure we felt confident about his recovery. Their positivity and encouragement made such a difference.   Ashley has been smart, helpful and accessible for me as I've been in an impossible situation, an 82-year-old with a smashed femur in a busy healthcare facility. I needed a cheerleader, someone who was on my side and I can't compliment Ashley more highly. I have called her name as she comes bustling by, and she steps in to help with a beautiful smile. She absolutely deserves an employee of the month award.

  The facility is clean, the entire staff is amazing. The CNAs, LVNs and RNs are very sweet and caring. The Physical Therapy staff are very professional. I would highly recommend this place for your loved ones.

  This is a great Rehab Center for recovery from trauma & surgery. I experienced myself! Following an accident when I suffered 4 broken rib bones due to bradycardia incident and a surgery when a pacemaker was installed in me, I was transferred to Berkeley East for recovery. Here, I got great care and excellent physical therapy. Their gym is well equipped & a group of therapists, all are very attentive, knowledgeable, & patient! I think here, muscular dystrophy has NO chance! The food services here are great too! Patients vitals are monitored 3 times daily. Visits from speech therapist, social worker, dietitian, attending physician(Dr. Susan Leonard) etc.,…kept me updated on business part of staying here. Dr. Leonard even ordered a 2 button walker & “In Home Care” for me when I graduate from the care of Berkeley East here! I witnessed firsthand what kind of good care my roommate, a handicapped patient, gets all day & all night! There’re different kinds of activities, e.g., cooking lesson of making bagel pizza..art sessions etc., to make recovery days interesting…I believe I have made my recommendation ！😃🥳🎈
