  The right part of first floor of the facility is under renovation while the left side is the physical therapy department. The therapists are dedicated and gentle in their dealing with patients. I would like to recognize Roma, Donna and Samantha who helped me recovering from my physical challenges. The second floor was where I spent three weeks. The facility was clean and spacious and the nursing staff are dedicated in general. I particularly liked the daily exercise sessions which Meena offered everyday taking a break from the long days at rehab. Meena actively encouraged the residents to participate by going by room to room to get the patients to join her exercise sessions as well as assisting the wheelchair bound patients. Marie S., who was working part-time, showed true compassion to patients she was helping. I found the communication with admission staff could be improved as well as the kitchen. Most of the time, the menu doesn’t match with food served on the tray. Overall, this rehab facility is worth considering should one needs to spend time recovering from health issues.

  Highly recommend! My mom was brought here after having a stroke - and left here like SuperWoman! The nurses/doctors/therapists are all pros - they are extremely knowledgeable and very patient! Also - the building is clean beyond compare! I would recommend to any and all in need - !!

  My mother receives the very best care by the nurses and CNAs at Excelcare at Norwood. The entire staff shows unending compassion and patience to both my mother and myself. Management always responds quickly to questions and concerns. As a fellow Nurse I’d like to commend the Nurse Manager on 1 South. Mercie Bernard is a great leader for her staff. One of the best I’ve seen in my career. The staff to be what they are they need her. A very big thank you to all. God bless all of you. I keep all of you precious people in my daily prayers.

  Excellent care givers such as Meena Klamath in recreation dept always goes above and beyond her duties and always give love in every thing she does. Also Excellent nurses such as Soraya who in very punctuation in giving medications and assisting patients in need. Very good staff all around.
