My dad has been in this rehab facility for two weeks after having hip surgery. He also struggles with dementia. That being said the staff has been incredibly professional, warm and caring. They are responsive to any questions that we have. It is a busy facility and so you do need to expect that the staff does have to juggle its assignments. But any major concerns that our family has had has been addressed quickly. Overall, a very positive experience.

The staff at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility were almost all friendly and helpful, and worked hard every day to make my mother's last six months as safe and comfortable as possible. My mother told me she was satisfied as well. The only reason I'm giving four stars is their inadequate protection against airborne infectious diseases. The staff offered vaccinations, but rarely wore anything more protective than baggy blue "surgical" masks, and often wore those under the chin or below the nose, or not at all. My mother caught a cold during her time there, and had to be sent to the emergency room for shortness of breath.
