  The minute I got there I knew it was going to be a great experience. There was an inviting atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming. I had excellent care. The nurses and cna’s were knowledgeable and professional Food service was very tasty. Housekeeping kept everything squeaky clean. Laundry was awesome. My clothes were so clean. Maintenance kept everything working properly. Physical therapy and occasional therapy worked with me. I hadn’t walked for five years and walked within one month. I am extremely happy I chose to come here. I will absolutely suggest Oak Ridge Care Center to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility. This place is awesome!!!

  My wife had a stroke about a month earlier and we transferred to Oak Ridge from an acute rehab facility. We immediately loved the friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and attitude. The room was always kept clean and they held to a pretty good routine. The food was good and they happily made menu adjustments to meet our needs. I take into account that operating a skilled nursing facility has significant challenges under state regulations and keeping the facility staffed is tough for any health care facility. This certainly caused a few slower responses to call lights and dinner coordination but overall, they were great. Coming off a stroke, PT/OT and speech therapy staff worked hard on rehab utilizing a variety of techniques and equipment to help my wife progress enough to transfer to home care. Clearly a dedicated staff. The support we got from the caseworkers was exceptional. Always willing to answer questions and doing the legwork between insurance, Medicare and setting up home health care. I know we wouldn’t have gotten this far without the entire staff and support services at Oak Ridge.

  This place is the worse. Two of my family members were put there for rehab and we took them out because they were in worse condition then they went in. They have injuries that no one in the entire facility know how they got them. It took Oak Ridge FIVE entire days to send my family member to the emergency room even though we asked them on a daily basis to send her to ER to get checked. The ER finds a dislocated elbow that she laid there in pain for FIVE days with. All this place does if give meds to make them sleep so they do not have to deal with them. When you walk in the hallway all you see if call lights on and no staff going to check on these elderly people. If you do not have compassion for people do not work in a facility that counts on you to take care of their loved ones.

  Oak Ridge Care Center has provided my mom exceptional care, compassion and commitment each and every day. The entire staff; MD's, RN's, LPN's, CNA's, PT, OT, Dental, Social Worker, Dietician, kitchen staff, as well as the entire support staff; admitting, business office, maintenance and house keeping have gone above and beyond; all of them actually CARE in keeping my mom healthy, happy and safe. I highly recommend Oak Ridge Care Center to anyone who is looking for a long term skilled nursing facility for a loved one. In my opinion, no one does it better!
