After working there for several months, I can say with all certainty that the poor reviews and low ratings are accurate. The care is not good, and they are not interested in improving. What I saw and heard were very troubling. I would never place my loved one in their assisted living or memory care, and I do not recommend to friends. The rehab unit is okay, because they have good therapists.

My Grandmother was at the rehab portion prior to her passing two years ago. My Grandfather ended up moving to the assisted living building. He was there for over two years until he recently passed away. We are so impressed with both Aaron and Misti's support during his stay at Linden Grove. My grandpa had a hard time with my Grandma's passing but Linden Grove was so thoughtful and inclusive to make my Grandpa feel at home. The residents are a tight knit and welcoming group and we are so thankful for the quality of life my Grandpa was able to have there the past two years.

My sister in law spent over 5 weeks at LindenGrove Waukesha. Because of a simple fall , she had a broken ankle which required major surgery to repair. This necessitated required nursing care and physical therapy. Prior to being cared for by LindenGrove, she had spent 13 days in 2 different hospitals and 5 days at another care center. To make things more challenging, she has other medical issues which required special attention.

When she arrived at LindenGrove, she had a large, clean beautiful room with her name on it. Because of the inability to put pressure on the ankle, she required adaptive products that allowed her to transfer with help and dignity for weeks. ( The prior facility had 2 residents in a room with a bathroom that was not ADA compliant ) .

We were able to meet almost immediately with the management staff to go over all of her special medical needs which were independent of the injury. We were impressed with their attention to detail .

The staff was attentive and caring. No one belittled or yelled at her when challenges arose. The nursing staff was attentive to managing the surgery wounds and medications, particularly Jen.

The physical/occupational therapy staff did a good job in instilling confidence in her progress. Because of her medical history, she required a special diet. We were able to meet with the nutritionist and create a specialized daily menu which was accommodated.

The dining room , resident rooms, lobbies, and outside settings are maintained, clean, and inviting.

Since we were fortunate to live 3 blocks from the facility, we had the opportunity to visit more often and interact with staff. What happens when family members are not present is what distinguishes quality of care from one facility to the next. I would say LindenGrove passed that test.

Negative stars! Very expensive and VERY NEGLECTFUL! Not enough staff. My Grandpa was neglected. We found him in so much pain and had to call an ambulance for him. How did no one notice this?? It continues to get worse. He developed bed sores and had no water to the point his tongue was so dehydrated. We found him hanging off his bed. Please do not send your loved ones here. It's a nightmare! He is finally out of there! No human deserves to be treated like this! I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE PEOPLE STILL THERE! CHECK ON YOUR LOVED ONES! 2nd shift and weekends have no supervisor so it is the worse at that time. That's what we were told.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
