  Receptionist was extremely rude

  Horribly mismanaged facility. No coordination between case management and nursing staff. Phone repeatedly not being picked up during business hours. Nurse assistants telling elderly patients asking to use the toilet they should just pee in their diapers. I have never witnessed anything like this. Their on-hold message says: "[...] a five-star facility." Not even in the general ballpark. Do NOT send your loved ones there if they need any sort of care beyond just getting basic in-patient physical therapy - especially the elderly.

  Desert terrace is a great place with staff that do their best to care for the residents. Every time I go there I am greeted with smiling faces and positivity.
